Here is how I made my custom wood grips, I will post pictures later. This is how I did it, you can do it different. I know there not the best so please don't flame. Supplies:Scroll Saw or maybe a Dremel Wood at least 3/16 inch thick Sandpaper Drill or drill press Wood stain or paint if you want ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Step one: Take your piece of wood and draw the shape of the grips you want to make. Step two: Cut on the outside of the line. Remember, if it's to big, you can sand it, if its to small, that sucks. Step three: Find where to drill the holes that the screws go though. Then mark the holes. Use a drill or drill press to make the holes. I used a 9/64 inch drill bit, you may need a different size. Step four: Countersink the holes if needed. Make sure to set the stop on the drill press for this part so you don't drill though the wood (like I did). Step five: Sand down the edges of the grips until then take shape. I used 60 grit sandpaper. Step six: Smooth out the sides and edges of the grips with sandpaper, starting with coarse then gradually to fine sandpaper. Step seven: Use wood stain or paint to color, or you could use a wood engraver is wanted. Step eight: Slap on you're gun and enjoy! Finished picture:
